Yes. Dr. Heuschmann has announced that 2026 will be his final year of international travel for clinics in the United States. This event at Seven Hills Training in Monroe, WA, is expected to be his last appearance in the Pacific Northwest.
Not at all. While Dr. Heuschmann is a champion of classical dressage training, his principles apply to all disciplines. We welcome western riders, jumpers, and pleasure riders who are committed to biomechanically correct work and horse welfare.
We welcome riders of all levels, from dedicated amateurs to professional trainers. Dr. Heuschmann’s teaching is highly individualized; he meets every horse-and-rider pair where they are currently.
Yes. Given Seven Hills Training's specialty in equine rehabilitation, this clinic is an excellent environment for horses transitioning back to work or young horses starting their education. Dr. Heuschmann’s veterinary background makes him uniquely qualified to assist with horses needing careful, corrective movement.
To ensure the safety of all participants at our Monroe, WA facility, all horses must be in good health and free of infectious diseases. Detailed stabling protocols and arrival instructions will be sent upon formal registration.
Auditing is one of the best ways to absorb the breadth of Dr. Heuschmann’s knowledge. As an auditor, you can observe a variety of horse-and-rider combinations, take extensive notes, and participate in Q&A sessions without the pressure of managing your own horse.
Dr. Heuschmann is known for being very generous with his knowledge. Time is typically allocated during or between riding sessions for auditors to ask questions regarding the biomechanical principles being demonstrated in the arena.
Riding spots are extremely limited and typically fill within days. Pre-registering on this page puts you on the priority notification list, giving you the first opportunity to book a spot before registration opens to the general public.
The clinic is hosted at Seven Hills Training, located at 27106 Old Owen Road, Monroe, WA. Our facility features a premium indoor arena, ensuring the clinic proceeds comfortably regardless of Pacific Northwest weather.
