Our clients talk about us

The greatest measure of our work is the progress our clients feel in the saddle and in their horses

I've got a completely different horse

"I brought my big OTTB to Kyra after a difficult, inconsistent start, and finding the right trainer had been a challenge. When Kyra restarted him from the ground up, the change was incredible. I returned from military service to a completely unrecognizable horse—calm, level-headed, patient, and genuinely happy to work. He is relaxed, well-mannered, and a complete gentleman. Kyra’s approach to horsemanship and training is truly unmatched, and she creates a drama-free environment that makes the whole experience a pleasure."

Everything just clicked

"Every lesson with Kyra is valuable. She explains concepts clearly, adapts to different learning styles, and breaks down challenges in a way that creates real “light-bulb” moments. Just as importantly, she is fair, patient, and always puts the horses first—something you can see in the trust they have in her."

I wish I had found Kyra sooner

"I only wish I met Kyra sooner in my equestrian journey. Since joining her program, I’ve become a more confident, effective rider and horsewoman. Her training promotes harmony and partnership in a way that creates engagement and fun, and her perspective—blending classical dressage, biomechanics, behavioral science, and horsemanship—is truly unmatched."

An advocate for the horse

"My young mare had a series of unfortunate events: injury, illness, ulcers, plus behavior challenges that developed as a result of chronic pain. After trial and error on our own, we found ourselves under Kyra’s guidance, and I’m so thankful we did. Kyra is truly an advocate for the horse, taking the time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs. With her honest, straightforward assessments, we’ve made meaningful progress, and seeing my horse comfortable, engaged, and interested in learning again has been such a relief."

Classical instruction, grounded in biomechanics—wherever you ride

!

Distance shouldn't limit your education

Accessing high-quality instruction rooted in biomechanics can be difficult depending on your location. Our virtual training program brings the same "Thinking Rider" philosophy directly to your arena, no matter where you are in the world.

Whether you need real-time eyes on the ground or a deep-dive analysis of your horse’s movement, technology allows us to bridge the gap and keep your progress consistent.

Real-time live coaching

Bring the instructor into your arena

Using a smartphone, tablet, or tracking system (Pivo/Pixem), we stream directly into your ear via Bluetooth headset. This format mirrors a traditional lesson, allowing for immediate feedback and adjustments in the moment.

Best for: Riders who want active coaching during their ride.

Requirements: Strong internet connection (WiFi/cellular), Bluetooth headset, and a video device.

Biomechanical movement analysis

Focused evaluation of movement and rider influence

Biomechanical movement assessment is a focused evaluation of how the horse is moving and how the rider’s position, balance, and timing influence that movement.

The process: Using your submitted video, we identify patterns, compensations, and priorities, with clear recommendations to improve coordination and effectiveness both in the saddle and through targeted exercises.

Video review & consultation

Detailed feedback on your timeline

Perfect for riders with spotty internet at the barn or those who want to study their ride in depth. You submit a video of your training session or test, and we provide detailed feedback.

Format: Choose between a recorded voiceover or a scheduled video call where we watch the footage together to discuss biomechanics and next steps.

Tech setup

Successful virtual lessons require a few key tools to ensure clear communication:

  1. Connection: Strong WiFi or 4G/5G signal in your arena is needed for live coaching.

  2. Audio: Wireless Bluetooth earbuds (like AirPods) so you can hear instruction clearly while riding.

  3. Visuals: A tripod or a friend with a steady hand to hold your phone or tablet OR a Pivo/Pixem system.
